I have seven years of engraving experience using Sibelius scoring software and can
produce high quality scores for my clients. I have also made a living for the last eight
years doing daily transcriptions for my guitar students, church musicians, and other
people hoping to learn a tune they can not find the music for or music they have
written that they wish to look more professional.
As a result of earning two composition degrees and producing work for various clients,
I have worked with everything from solo instrumental to large wind ensemble and full
orchestra. I can also do jazz lead sheets and guitar tabs.
For copying and engraving, I follow the music prep guidelines proposed by the
American Federation of Musicians. A price estimate will be given ahead of time. I will
not charge for correcting my own errors and you will get a low-resolution proof to make
sure everything is in order before the final product is delivered. I can also provide the
Sibelius file and a PDF copy at no extra charge. Binding is available for an extra cost.
Pricing for arrangements will be negotiated and transcriptions are billed at a rate of
$25 per hour.
