I have been performing professionally in the Chicago-land area for the past 15 years.  I
have performed in concerts, recitals, parties, restaurants, fund-raisers, wine tastings,
weddings and baptisms. Past performances include work with the Northwest Indiana
Symphony, The Jeff Brown Dixie Quartet, the Valparaiso University (V.U.) Chorale, V.U.
Kantorei, V.U. University Singers and several V.U. Faculty.  If you are in the
Chicago-land area and desire elegant music for an upcoming special event, feel free to
contact me.  Click

I can play solo classical guitar or in a duet with a violinist for weddings, parties, and
other special events.  The violinist and I have been playing together for several years
and have a large repertoire of music to select from.  I studied classical guitar throughout
my undergraduate and graduate schooling.  My classical guitar teachers have included
Michael Adamczyk,
James Konsbruck, and Pamela Kimmel.

If you prefer hearing jazz at your next special event, I have a group of musicians that I
can assemble to give your event a classy touch.  I studied jazz guitar and theory
throughout my undergraduate schooling.  I played rhythm guitar in the Valparaiso
University Jazz Big Band under the direction of
Jeff Brown and was section leader for a
year.  My jazz guitar teachers have included Jason Golday, and
Bill Boris.

I also teach guitar out of a little music store in Valparaiso, IN called Front Porch Music.  I
have been teaching there eight years with many students going on to music school or
otherwise pursuing a career in music.
